Hire Charges, Conditions and Fire safety.
Maltby Village Hall available for hire on an hourly basis.
For residents of the villages:
Main Hall = £8 per hour with a refundable deposit of £50.
Meeting Room = £4.50 per hour with a refundable deposit of £50.
Main Hall = £20 per hour with a refundable deposit of £200.
Meeting Room = £8 per hour with a refundable deposit of £100.
Contract hire is subject to negotiation if for regular use.
Payment to be made in full on the day of hiring. For regular users arrangements can be made to receive a monthly invoice.
No charge will be made for cancellation providing 24 hours notice is given.
Hirers are free to use the kitchen and it’s facilities, including cookware, cutlery and crockery.
However a charge will be made for any breakage or loss.
At the time of hire a committee member will show hirer the facilities and check that all fixture and fittings are present and working. Any damage caused to these, whether accidental and malicious, will be charged to the hirer.
All hirers have a right to expect that the hall is clean and tidy before use, and although a cleaner is employed hirers are expected to leave the hall clean, tidy and floors swept as necessary.
Should the hirer not wish to do this a Charge will be made for the extra cleaning.
Our hall is a charitable trust we hope our guest hirers treat it with care.
All hirers must be instructed on the location and use of the fire equipment.
Fire extinguishers are provided in the hall premises and kitchen.
Fire exit doors are indicated by illuminates signs above the doors.
Hirers are required to sign a form to say they understand the above.
Maltby Village Hall is licensed to accommodate 200 persons in the main Hall for public music and dancing.
Licence hours are:
Sunday to Thursday 10 a.m. until 10 p.m.
Friday to Saturday 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. midnight.
Strict adherence to these times is required. We have neighbours and ask all patrons to leave the hall quietly.
